Salvation Army / Goodwill Item to taxable income deductions No fee No fee   If an item doesn't sell or you get a bunch of low-ballers, just drop the item off at a charity. Sometimes its just not worth the hassle of trying to sell it and you can get a fair market value deduction on your taxes, if you itemize.
