Computer History:
I have been using computers since I was around six years old. It all began
when my father bought a
Commodore 64.
Over the next few years, I eventually became bored with playing arcade games
and started to design my own games and programs in BASIC. I was even able
to mimic the some of the games on the console systems in my own programming projects.
Due to the slow speed of BASIC, I started learning MOS
65XX Assembly. When I was 16, I was given a 286 computer
from church. I was quick to adapt to the new machine and mastered the system in
about two months knowing the in's and out's of DOS, Win3.1x and X86 system architecture.
About a half a year later, I built my own Cyrix based 200 MHZ computer from parts.
Since then I have built and repaired various machines.
My current desktop is a custom-built 3.4 GHZ AMD Phenom X4, 4 GB Dual Channel PC3-12800
RAM, ATI Radeon HD4770 with 1024 MB DDR5, 1 TB Samsung SATA 133 hard-disk running
Windows 7 Home Premium.
My current laptop is a Dell Inspiron 6000 with a 2.0 GHZ Intel Centrino, 2 GB
RAM, ATI X300 Mobility Radeon with 128 MB DDR RAM, and 60 GB Fujistu hard-disk running
Windows XP Pro.
My current Phone is a
HTC Touch Pro 2 with a 528 MHZ Qualcomm, 256 MB
ROM, 288 MB
RAM, and a 16 GB Micro SDHC card running the latest version of Windows Phone.
